The incident happened on Saturday evening, Oct. 7 at a Burger King in Elmsford located at 265 East Main St. (Route 119), where crews were called to respond to a working fire, according to the Elmsford Fire Department.
According to the Valhalla Fire Department, the blaze was found to have started in the building's ductwork and was quickly extinguished.
Firefighters then climbed to the restaurant's roof to make sure the flames had not spread. After venting the building and checking to make sure there were no hotspots, units finished their response.
